"You're sitting on paradise beach, next you're stepping over dead babies"
My sister's morning (evening) e-mail from Thailand. I got to speak with her yesterday, just long enough to be cut off after hearing her voice and saying "Hello...can you hear me now." She has opened her house to "refugees" and had taken in about a dozen tourists and injured people. Her e-mails have sounded pretty bleak, and I'm wondering if she even knows the scale of what has happened beyond Thailand. Please send her some postive vibes, or even pray if that is what you do...she sounds like she needs it!

2. I am so glad she is OK.
Can you imagine how difficult it must be opening your house to people who have lost everything and those that they love? It must be a horror, one we would all do willingly but still, it must be terribly difficult. Your sister has my respect and prayers. I am glad she is OK.

I'm sure it'll affect her horribly. I'm so sad for so many people - those who lost loved ones, those who are sick and injured, and those who are helping. Please keep us posted on her well-being.

4. Another reminder
how fragile life really is.

I hope the worst is over for your sister and everyone else that was in this catastrophe.
