When Does * Stop Answering Questions? |
|
I know, I know. I'm preaching to the choir here, but I made the mistake of tuning into Rush this afternoon. Had some guy named Sullivan filling in.
Anyway, almost the entire first 30 minutes (which is all I can really stand) was devoted to propping up * and making excuses as to why he was out playing golf, clearing twigs, cycling, and generally doing nothing for 3 days while over 100,000 people had died in what can only be described as a tragedy of "biblical" proportions. To me this would be like the pResident doing some mountain biking after an asteroid had struck the earth, or reading a childrens book for 7 minutes after two planes had slammed into the WTC (but that's a different story).
Didn't take the listeners long to begin saying that the way * is treated by the "librul" media, he is justified to not hold press conferences or answer questions. I swear to God, It was positively chilling! I thought maybe we were in a dictatorship! Who dares to ask a tough question of our "Dear Leader". Host actually at one point said "I would love to have a million *'s working for me, because he is a man of action". First thing that came to my head was, Yeah, "and Castro is a man of action too". And so is Ken Lay.
Is this how it felt in Germany in the 1930's? Is our pResident now so great that he needs not answer to the people anymore? It is sickening.

I noted in 2001 that right-wing media began building a wall around * so that anything that went wrong could be blamed on Clinton.

7. And his people are criticizing Clinton now for speaking out the |
|
other day. I heard President Clinton on the radio yesterday . . . and I wondered:
"Uh, where is our "elected" leader at a time like this?"

You see. The Clenis is so large and powerful! Wasn't an earthquake at all. The Clenis was accidentally dropped in the water and caused a giant wave!
Hey, it makes as much sense as someone trying to say * gives a damn.
