1. Don't forget "nuclear test".
That seems popular around here, too.

2. Huh?
Where'd you get the notion a meteor or asteroid might've been involved with it?

9. Here's a thread with some info
I haven't made up my mind yet, but this sounds pretty convincing. I'm surprised the Chimp hasn't jumped all over this as a reason to militarize space.....

15. Let me know what you think.......
In addition to the incidents mentioned in the link in my previous post, I found these(didn't search much):
Indonesia Dec. 20
http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=1449362004

Damaged satellites Dec. 16
http://www.news24.com/News24/Technology/News/0,,2-13-1443_1636578,00.html

And I remember recently hearing about a close call of a meteor hitting an important U.S. satellite, but can't find a link

13. I like planetary alignment best

They also predicted this one and were off by only 58 minutes off and like 145 km.

Im pretty fascinated by this. It does seem to make some sense to me. Why did people worship the sun a moon? Why did they look to the stars and build crazy temples and all that jazz? Possibly because there are patterns to be found.

14. I thought it was George Bush
Isn't he responsible for everything? He and PNAC planted a nuclear devise with the intention of destroying half of Asia.
That sounds like the sort of explanation you see around here.
