Tsunami Kills Few Animals in Sri Lanka
Tsunami Kills Few Animals in Sri Lanka

Wed Dec 29, 8:56 PM ET

By GEMUNU AMARASINGHE, Associated Press Writer

YALA NATIONAL PARK, Sri Lanka - Wildlife officials in Sri Lanka expressed surprise Wednesday that they found no evidence of large-scale animal deaths from the tsunamis — indicating that animals may have sensed the wave coming and fled to higher ground.

1. Just as animals flee in advance of a B*sh visit. How do they know?
Animals just do.

2. That's always amazed me. The ability of animals to sense these things.
It makes me wonder if we humans possess the same ability but have it trained out of us from an early age.

4. Hawaii (the Big Island) was hit by a killer tsunami
which rearranged Hilo -- I think the year was 1959.

Anyway there is a remote valley that was hit hard -- but no one died. The reason we were told by an old man who lived there at the time was when the water exposed the seabed -- people living there ran for high ground. They remembered the teachings of the old ones about another time in ancient history when the seabed was exposed.

But the animals in Sri Lanka didn't have an oral tradition --

As smart as we human think we are -- cats know darn well that we are inferior creatures.

5. my dogs stood up and howled
a minute later a quake hit L.A.,not a big one but the dogs could feel it in advance. They say cockroaches are aware of earthquakes coming, how anyone figured out what a cockroach was thinking is beyond me.Theoretically Bush should sence these things in advance because of his stellar intellect or him being part of a neocon plan like 9/11(argue amoungst yourselves on this )
Awakened from a well deserved nap on his well deserved vacation ( it's hard work ) He became John Wayne and bitched about how we will send money to the those far away lands he knows or cares nothing about, but first it's his party and he'll gloat if he wants to.You would gloat too if it happened to you.
