2. Probably aftershocks, or warnings of aftershocks
Aftershocks are expected in an Earthquake, espy one this big. In this case, aftershocks will probably cause more tidal waves.

India Warns Residents of Fresh Tsunamis

NAGAPPATTINAM, India (AP) -- Authorities in southern India warned residents in coastal areas to evacuate Thursday, saying there could be fresh tsunamis.

"We have issued an alert. There could be a wave attack in the next one hour," said Veera Shanmuga Mani, the top administrator in Nagappattinam, a coastal town in southern Tamil Nadu state where most of the deaths from the weekend tsunamis occurred.

It was unclear what sparked the warning, but two aftershocks hit islands off of India's eastern coast Thursday morning, the Indian Meteorological Department said earlier.

A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, struck the Greater Nicobar island at 02:43 a.m. Two hours later, another earthquake of the same intensity hit the Little Nicobar island.

5. Is there anyone besides me watching the quakes?
What do you think about the 5.6 in the mid atlantic? Its been quiet over there for awhile.

I know alot of the things on this list are aftershocks but it is amazing how you can watch them move up and down the plates if you track the coordinates. Half the ring of fire has woken up.
