Winger Seeks Red Cross Donations to Pay for His Bandwidth
Found this on blogsnow.com

Unbelievable! This right winger is asking for Donations to pay for his website bandwidth. He is invoking the name of the Red Cross and says he'll donate 50% of all money given to him to disaster relief at the Red Cross - the rest he'll spend so selflessly on himself.

Quote from his site: http://www.punditguy.com/2004/12/horror.html">http://www.punditguy.com/2004/12/horror.html

HORROR
HELP!!! - I've been hit very hard on bandwidth usage fees due to the size of the videos. My only goal was to show these so people could get a sense for the enormity of the disaster and desire to give to a charity of their choice. Now, I need help. The bill is more than I can afford. If you feel so inclined, would you please consider sending me a donation? If you donate, <strong>I'll give 50% of whatever you send me to the Red Cross in care of the victims in Southeast Asia</strong>. Simply hit the "Make A Donation" button in the upper left hand corner of the PunditGuy website. Thank you!!!

What a cheap bastard! Let him know how sleazy this is...

1. You know, I think I'd rather just send money directly to Red Cross
What an asswipe. Hey freeper, if you need more bandwidth pull yourself up by your bootstraps. Get another job. Quit begging.

6. Don't sound like a winger!
It'll make them feel bad.

Definitely rub their attitude in their own faces.

2. In the Spirit of good old-fashioned conservatism....
you should never have used all that bandwidth, if you knew you couldn't afford it.

now you're gonna have to suck it up and find another way to get paid.

too bad, so sad.

3. Is he asking for a handout?
What kind of Republican values is that? What ever happened to the marketplace of ideas determining whether you sink or swim?

Pretty sad when you need to piggyback on disaster relief to pay your internet bills. Maybe he ought to just pull the plug on the website....it's just so damn unseemly to see a Republican begging for money.

5. Not to mention
That is probably breaking the law in many states that regulate charitable solicitation. So much for the law and order party...

7. He should have thought of that, but..
since I'm always freaking about bandwidth issues myself, I understand. He probably should have just asked for help with the exact amount he needed and let it go at that.
