They are obstacles! If someone tries to hold you back from doing what is right, then you need to nod and smile and simply move around them and then blow right past them!

Someone tells you that faxing the Senators is an exercise in futility? Nod and smile and fax anyway!

Someone tells you that believing in Kerry is stupid, nod and smile and continue to follow your instincts!

Obstacles can be overcome. You just have to keep moving forward. Don't stop to pick up hitchhikers who only want to let the air out of your tires at the first opportunity.

Keep moving forward! Call those Senators and urge them to contest the election on the 6th! Keep working and moving forward! Say, "Fuck you!" with a smile but for goodness sake, keep working and BELIEVE that good will triumph over evil!

Speed bumps; not so much. Those freaking stop sign people, them I could do without; and do do without I've just realized; though I refer here to my private life.

The stop signs in our political world are a bit peskier. They're the ones who actively try to put a stop to movement. Fear driven and trying to keep the world encased in amber. I believe physics is against them.

Great post!!! i sometimes think that a lot of folks are here to polish their high school debating skills. I have often thought that if i would post "the sky is blue"...it would get this huge debate of angry debaters who want a link to that..or research to prove it..blah, blah, blah! Sometimes, you just trust yourself as to what you see..and act accordingly. Others would rather debate it..must not trust their own instincts.
