Pamphleteer spurs mosque evacuation

Aurora (Colorado)| The county bomb squad evacuated worshipers from the Colorado Muslim Society Sunday after a man left small box near the mosque's entrance, flashed a peace sign to members, then quickly drove away.

The bomb squad found that the box contained a religious pamphlet with handwritten notes on the back.

"We believe the package was left at the mosque to harass the worshipers," said Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson.

Robinson said the handwritten notes made no sense and contained no direct threats.

Robinson described the suspect as having brown skin, clean-shaven with short, dark hair, 35-40 years old, weighing about 180 pounds and athletic in build.
