Bu$h is writing Executive Order to give Illegal aliens SSI, it will bankrup... |
|
the system and cause Massive invasion to get FREE CHECK for life
if he is so worried about it being broken why Fuck it up more
he is aiding and abetting criminals.. is this impeachable??
Fully 10% of Mexico's population has migrated to this country.. and i think 20,000,000 Mexicans have taken jobs form us and they are not going home, they dint even check for status anymore, there is no border patrol there is no border.
How can "undocumented" Illegal aliens sign legal documents and get SSI
I am disabled and get no disability, i cant work and my wife has had 3 jobs in the last 3 years 'outsourced'. her industry is totally destroyed. are 57 and cant afford to go to college. and she is going to lose this job is she wont move to mexico to teach mexicans how to do her job.. and there are only a hand full of people who can do it here..and outside the united states basically no one can.. that is why imports are crap.
I tried to get VocRehab but i was told unless i was blind or a quadriplegic i didn't qualify.

without knowing the specifics, this might not be as bad as you think. Because this also means that they will have to pay into Social Security, and thereby increasing the pool of people who are paying into the system.
But like I said, I am not aware of the specifics.

18. Actually, some of them already pay into the system. |
|
Edited on Fri Dec-31-04 11:21 AM by w4rma
They give their employer a fake SS# and the employer pays the payroll taxes into the system before they get a paycheck.
Although the ones who are paid in cash will *never* pay into the system no matter what.

3. What's your source for this? |
|
If this is true, he has just presented an enormous vulnerable front to broadside with an endless firestorm of outrage.
Time to fire off LTTEs, after confirming it.

12. Yep--this definitely calls for a reliable source. |

I need a source.
My husband is a LEGAL immigrant, and I'm sympathetic to undocumented workers (I live in AZ, they are my neighbors). They are just trying to survive, many far away from friends and family (they usually send money home for their families).
I REALLY need a source.
Till then, calm down, kids, calm down.

4. If they paid into the system as those who would qualify have |
|
then they should benefit from the system. I feel for you but we can't blame our woes on Mexico or immigrants. These people are just trying to survive and provide for their families.

6. Yeah, I really wanted that job doing roofing work in August |
|
in South Texas but that damned illegal alien got it instead of me. I really wanted to use that mop to swab that hot tar all over that roof when it was 120 degrees on that roof but I got cheated.
I also wanted that job doing tile work in new housing additions but another illegal alien got that job too.
And my wife really, REALLY wanted that job as a maid at the Best Western Inn on the Interstate. I just don't know what we're going to do now.

9. I'm so sick of hearing about jobs that we don't want |
|
I know plenty of people who are out of work and would gladly do those things (and I live in Houston). The problem is that there are street corners with illegals standing around. If you need day workers, you just pull up, flash fingers, and the number indicated will hop into the back of your truck. They aren't paying into SS, they are paid in cash, completely under the table.

11. Yep, it has nothing to do with the job and everything to do with the wage |
|
Most people wont do horrible jobs for poverty wages.
How scandalous.

10. And rather than adjusting wages to attract workers. |
|
As would be done in a true market economy, we find workers who not only will do anything(because they have no other choice), but will take sub living wages to do it (because they have no other choice).
God forbid a corporation has to actually pay someone a fair price for thier labor.

7. SSI is not part of the Social Security payroll tax system |
|
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a Federal income supplement program funded by general tax revenues (not Social Security taxes): It is designed to help aged, blind, and disabled people, who have little or no income; and It provides cash to meet basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter.
It does not depend on prior work status, and does not depend on prior payment of payroll taxes.

14. As hard as it is to get disability... |
|
unless its obvious, like missing limbs, blindness etc. one(usually) needs a great deal of doctor/hospital documentation to qualify. How many illegal aliens do you suppose have such a file? You also have to show you are currently undergoing treatment for a disorder(s).
I suppose they could be showing up at hospitals, and having the bills written off under a hospital "indigent" program, but I don't believe they would qualify for State programs for low-income people to get medical care. I think they ask for your SS number.
If I'm wrong...this is total BS.
....Just thinking

16. From a Google of "SSI, illegal aliens:" |
|
Edited on Fri Dec-31-04 11:13 AM by blondeatlast
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=illegal+aliens+SSINote the first link, as well as the DATE in the first story. "Undocumented workers, SSI" yields much different results: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=undocumented+workers+SSIEdit: this, by all accounts, old news. It's been done already.
