Paging Dick Cheney...has any one seen Dick Cheney! |
|
Cheney always manages to be away from the fray when the tough questions get asked. They trot him out to sell the administration's BS and tout him as the sage old man. Russert gives him a full hour to sell his version of reality and presents it as the absolute gospel.
Well its time for Mr. Cheney to come out of his cave and answer some real questions. I for one want to see Dick Cheney sitting with a white line shining in his face and a rabid Dem prosecutor chewing on his ass. That man has a lot of questions to answer and its time to demand he do so.

He's the one who supposedly sent Wilson to Niger. He's the one who called the standdown on 9/11. He's the one that oversaw the Energy Commission. He's the one who was placed in charge of Domestic Counterterrorism. He's the one with Halliburton contracts up the wazoo.
Yeah, I'd say he's got some questions to answer. That's probably why we never see him when it's answer time.

7. Those are a few of the ones I was thinking of. |
|
I also want to see someone ask him about the million dollar bonus from Halliburton WHILE he was in office and the no-bid, no-end-in-sight contract Halliburtion got to rebuild Iraq.
It would be nice to replay his little hour-long whore fest with Russert on the eve of war with Iraq. I think I remember a few unequivocal statements from Duracell Dick that day.

3. He ought to be through with his 200,000 mile checkup by now. |
|
So we know he's deep in the bowels of the CIA running the paper shredder.

As long as the press will already be assembled, let's ask a few nagging questions....
