4. Isn't a Party Chair
Just a fundraiser? And Terry McAuliffe was really good at raising money.

6. The inital paragraph says
WASHINGTON – Senior Democrats are trying to persuade national Chairman Terry McAuliffe to continue his service as party chairman, especially if none of the current candidates gains momentum in the race to replace him.

Hmm. I guess the "leadership" wants to keep dissing Dean, who can raise some cash himself and motivate the base.

IOW, they ain't learned nothing yet.

11. Corporate money to fund the party
Doesn't leave most of the voters with any party representation.

7. definitive definition of the DNC/DLC
is there something written somewhere that clearly and concisely explains these two entities, who they are, how they derrive their power within the Democratic party, what purpose they serve, and why Dean is such a 'mauvais sujet' with them?

8. Give Terry his walking papers.
He is just not effective enough. He does however know how to raise cash. But he's got no fire. Kind of like an empty suit.

I really would like to see them ask Howard Dean if he wants the job. Now there's a guy with fire and passion. If all of us dems backed him the way we should have been backed then I believe he'd be President now. Of course the media did everything to destroy him. But who owns the media. Not us.

10. This is their anti Dean crap
It worked so well when they helped derail Dean in Iowa and chose the "electable" Mr. Kerry, didn't it?

/sarcasm

MacAwful and the DC gang gave us here in KY our second GOP senator his second term. Mongiardo lost by 1.5 points. If the DNC had helped earlier, I think Dan Mongiardo could have won. With MacAwful the red states will just get redder.

12. Help wanted: Anybody but Dean.
This is pretty sad. Are these guys desperate or what?

I'd love to see Dean get it but I would have been OK with a decent compromise candidate.

15. Typical democrat, always willing to compromise
I say this jokingly and in all seriousness. Some things you can not compromise on. We need a leader who will represent our core values of freedom, truth, honor, justice, acceptance, freedom, love. And do so with passion.
