Another reason to LOVE Armstrong Williams

White House paid commentator to promote law

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=676&e=2&u=/usatoday/20050107/ts_usatoday/whitehousepaidcommentatortopromotelaw

Its good to know that my taxes have been paying Armstrong Williams.

...snip

Seeking to build support among black families for its education reform law, the Bush administration paid a prominent black pundit $240,000 to promote the law on his nationally syndicated television show and to urge other black journalists to do the same.

...snip
"Williams said Thursday he understands that critics could find the arrangement unethical..."
...snip
"White House spokesman Trent Duffy said he couldn't comment because the White House is not involved in departments' contracts."
...snip

Now if only I could find a way to direct my tax dollars to Limbaugh, all would be right with the world.

I wonder if this will be a top story on Fox and, if so, what their spin will be. I can't see how they can spin this one to their advantage.

7. Think he's the only one? And isn't this BAD, that the White House pays?
They're going to have him on CNN in a few minutes, and are going to ask him why he took the money.

Isn't the better question WHY IS THE WHITE HOUSE PAYING PEOPLE?

Hello?

Objective, free media?

He's not the only one, I'd bet money on it.

9. We can NOT let this drop. Our White House is PAYING for support.
Bush wanted black people to like his education plan.

This is wrong, wrong, wrong, and someone's ass better be grass over this.
