Poll question: Should Armstrong Williams go to jail?
First a little background: courtesy of Conspiracy Planet

"Yassah, I sell No Chile Left Behind fo' ya, Massah Bush." -- Armstrong Williams

Bushonian Shill Armstrong Williams was paid $240,000 to promote the notorious No Child Regime Left Behind law by the Department of Education, reports USA Today.

This is propaganda paid for with OUR TAX DOLLARS!

Should he go to jail? And does anyone know what charges he could be brought up on?

4. Bush should go to jail
Williams shouldn't have to go to jail for something illegal the Bushists did.

7. I agree
It looks like Williams may be outing himself to some extent - or at least providing new details. I'd like to see a special prosicutor offer immunity to any journalist willing to come clean about his / her payoffs from the administration.

At least to get the ball rolling.

6. The spender, not spendee, should be jailed
This was a waste of taxpayer money. The person who spent it is the culprit. That guy performed a service (odious as it was) for compensation

9. If you claim someone needs to go to jail
and only then search for an actual crime committed...

13. Just following the lead of the Bush Justice Department
Which is looking for a way to lock people up indefinitely without charge or access to the court system.

Anyway, I don't think Walletfat Williams should be tossed in the clink. I just want to see every commentator on every show asked first and upfront, "So, who's paying you to say this?" And no discussion ensues until we have full disclosure of who's lining their pockets.

14. Yep. If we can send folks to jail these days for simply being
scum sucking pigs, Armstrong surely qualifies. He is a consistently odious, smarmy, ill informed, wrong headed pontificater of extreme right wing malodorous crap who brings zero to any conversation.

Since he is no longer the only black republican ass wipe to grace the airwaves, his presence may no longer be sought after by our esteemed MSM. He won't be missed.

Buh-bye, I hope.
