deLay's response to the Ohio challenge
I just happened to catch Tom deLay's five-minute rant about the Ohio challenge, and I was absolutely appalled at the string of unmitigated lies that he spewed forth. He showed not the slightest curiosity at the numerous voting irregularities uncovered in Ohio version of election 2004. All he could do was condemn the subversive Democrats who were obviously trying to do as much damage as possible to the US of A. He vilified everyone who wanted the Ohio situation looked at and said not one word about investigating the innumerable apparent underhanded machinations(that all strangely seemed to favor bush).
I've never seen such a despicable display of nasty lying as deLay showed here. He should really be thrown out of the Senate.

1. Well he's in the House of Representatives to start with...
...and he's a well-known GOP tool and extortionist for another.

14. deLay's response to the Ohio challenge
Thanks for the correction. I didn't know his reputation, not having been interested in politics until recently, He' but all I needed to confirm it was hearing that one speech. There are no words to describe his perfidy. He'd no doubt be amazed to learn that his ideas make him a traitor to the American ideals.

4. I was appalled as well.
I was not familiar with hearing his speaking style. It was one of those things that made me think - well - this shows how divided we are. If there was ever a spokesman for the opposite of what I think - it's probably him.

The fact that some want to make sure citizens have a right to vote is a "crime... to undermine democracy". Wanting to be able to vote is a "destructive theory of politics...", "irresponsible"..."this petition is beneath us".

It's unreal.
