Will there be a post, assuming Momma Kef returns, with autopsy results? |
|
I'm hoping for natural causes.
Okay, I'm hoping it didn't happen at all, but let's not start that hyperbole - it did happen so it's now time to find out why and how. None of us can travel in time (or the relevant portion of space) to change things. :-(
I sincerely hope it wasn't suicide. That would be terrible.

I don't think it matters as I really doubt foul play. Everything else is personal to Mama Kef. As for DU, we lost a fine individual, I don't think there is anything else that can be said beyond sharing the memories we each hold.

3. Who said speculation? I'm curious. Wouldn't suicide surprise us all? |

BTW: Don't patronise me. Don't tell me what to do. Or act. Ever.

10. OK, I'll tell you straight out: it's RUDE to speculate |
|
on the cause of death. My first response was restrained but you didn't like that so I'll give you the unvarnished truth.
It's RUDE to wonder what the autopsy will show -- it's really NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS/NONE OF MY BUSINESS/ NONE OF DU'S BUSINESS. If his mother WANTS to share the autopsy results, she will. It's RUDE of anyone to ask, and to bring up suicide as a possible cause of death is just gossip and in very poor taste.
This was a real person who died, suddenly and far too young. It's not a movie or a novel, but real life we're dealing with here. Please remember that and reign in your morbid curiosity. This is a time to behave like an adult.

4. No mother should ever have to go through this. Ever. |
|
I can only invest whatever energy I might otherwise put in my typical curiosity into 'sending vibes' to her support.

9. Losing a grown son - there are some lonely days ahead for Kheph's mom. |
|
Yes, we need to let her know we are thinking of her and sending good energy. And we need to let her know down the road too. She has some tough times to face. She should get occasional reminders of how her son made us better.
Hoping good memories start mixing with her sadness soon. Hoping she finds signs that love does is not extinguished when the vessel breaks. Hoping she finds comfort in the good vibes we share.

5. not sure it's any of our business |
|
I have a friend who died too young unexpectedly as he sat and watched TV. It was an unknown heart ailment. And my friend was thin. He just went quietly, never knowing what had happened.
You just never know in this world when your time is up.

It is one level to a lesser hell to know he went quickly and naturally than any other way.
It helps us morn to know these things but it is not necessary to know.
His spirit lives on.

she found Kephra slumped over his computer and the sheriff and coroner said it was sudden. Sounds to me like an aneurysm of some kind.

13. That was my first impression. I lost a friend that way. |
|
3 years later and I still miss him.

Instead of speculating about how he died let's remember him as he was....a valuable member of this site and a friend to all.
If his mother wishes to supply more information, she will do so in her own time.
This speculation is inappropriate.
