JoJo, Hilary Duff to play Jan. 18 youth concert in DC.

By Krista Desens

WASHINGTON, D.C. Tuesday Jan.11.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- JoJo and Hilary Duff will help celebrate President George W. Bush's inauguration by performing at a youth concert on January 18 in Washington, DC. The concert, called "AmericaRocks Today: A Call to Service," is being organized by the President's daughters, Barbara and Jenna Bush. Kid Rock is also on the show's lineup, which has some conservative groups in a rage due to Kid's less than politically correct antics and song lyrics. However, Kid has not yet confirmed his appearance at the concert.

1. I love when party-geek Republicans try to let loose.

The entertainment booking is indicative of just how "hip" they are.

Remember, W don't dance. Ladies, you know what THAT means.

Poor Pickles ...

I recall hearing of a duo called "K-Ci and Jojo" a couple years back, but I have no idea what they do. Sounds like b-grade singers.

10. JoJo
JoJo is a very young white female "singer" in the Britney/Christina tradition. From an earlier posting on DU about the inauguration, one of the posters said that she was 13 years old and got all tarted up when she sang. A couple of weeks ago she "sang" the National Anthem at the Orange Bowl - I was definately not impressed with her "singing" talent.

11. Kenny doesn't think much of her either
Kenny is a cat with an orange coat--yes, he's named after South Park's Kenny.

Thirty seconds ago he was sleeping on top of the computer.

I went to jojoonline.com and "entered site with sound on"--Kenny went flying and I still don't see him.

remeber his idiotic dance with ricky martin in 2001? it was all part of his attempts to "git the hispanic vote"
but where's ricky now? he's not exactly a chart-topper anymore

hopefully, the bush curse will take effect and clear the sirwaves of hillary duff and kid rock
