They're "porno" lighting Bush on CNBC now! |

Check the differences in shots between the interviewer and Bush.
It's a taped exclusive interview.

4. I should have used the word "filter" |
|
When Bush is shown you'll notice that he has this shiny gleam to his image, and it softtones the details.
When they show the interviewer he's in fine detail without the glow.
It's a lighting/filtering technique to cover up aging.

7. It's not the aging they're worried about! |
|
After all, wrinkly men get passed off as "distinguished" or "weathered."
Bush has a very prominent gin blossom on his nose, something very evident in pictures in the foreign press. Only here to they slather on the concealer, and I suppose use porno lighting when the concealer becomes a little too obvious under the harsh television lighting.

8. Do you really think, there are "extra"-pictures for the foreign... |

press? Maybe our taste is just different. Americans like to make things more "beautifull" than they are. For a european viewer this often looks ridiculouse and artificial. For example: you couldn't sell a book with a picture from you like the one of Hillary Clinton on her book cover. It looks incredible cheap. Another example would be how the northamericans prepare dead bodies, before the burial. Some Europeans, whose friends or relatives died in the USA and were buried there, were just completely shocked, when they saw, what has being done to their relatives. I'm a bit off topic here, but this is something that always confused me, considering that our cultures are very similar in most other cases. Greetings from Germany, Dirk

6. It's some sort of diffusion filter on the lens |
|
softens the lines and wrinkles. Also allot of time they use a pinkish gel on the lights. It make the blotches and red spots go away..
