A little help on Joe Conason...
Semi-spoiler, kinda, so scroll down to see my question...

So I'm into the chapter on Armey and the ACLU, and so far, while the book's good, two things have really bugged me.

1. He seems to have a hardon about Chomsky, referring to him at one early point as "annoying" (pp 52).

2. The bigger one - twice, Conason has the chance to bring up Prescott Bush's ties to the Nazis, specifically the financing of the Nazi party and the subsequent seizures of his businesses. On page 60, Conason lauds Prescott Bush viz his courage in censuring McCarthy. Then, in the section on American fascism and Hitler-appeasement(pp 72), Conason doesn't mention one word about Prescott Bush.

I don't know if this changes later (though a quick glance at the index seems to suggest it doesn't). Am I the only one bothered by this being left out?
