Watch the upcoming Martin Luther King Day coverage closely. |

You'll notice a strange gap in Dr. King's career.
You'll see Selma, and the March on Washington, with the "I Have A Dream" speech.
And then -- nothing, until "the shots rang out/In the Memphis sky..."
Um, what might Dr. King have been doing in the intervening five years? Protesting against an illegal, immoral, imperialist U.S. war, perhaps?? Can't have that, can we, 'specially not now while we're in the thick and din of yet another one, huh?
MLK Day coverage has always been skimpy on the antiwar Dr. King. I fully expect it to get skimpier and skimpier 'til it resembles a "wardrobe malfunction"...
