Bush-supporter compares him to Adolf
Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 06:00 PM by seaj11
I was disappointed to learn that my new boss is a Bush supporter. How I found out, tho', is quite strange. She and some of my co-workers were discussing how Germans perceived Hitler, and in response to my co-worker saying, "A lot of people didn't like him," she said, "Well, look at Bush. A lot of people hate him." ("didn't like"="hate"? OK...) "Yeah, I'm one of them," said my co-worker.

I just found it funny that a Bushie compared Bush to Hitler.

2. Funny, since
Most of the Koolaid crowd try to compare Bush to Jesus.

Have you ever heard of Godwin's law? It goes something like this: "if you mention Hitler or Nazis in a post, you've automatically ended whatever discussion you were taking part in". I have seen numerous times where Dubya was LEGITIMATELY compared to Hitler and the Godwin's law was mentioned, to of course deflect any negative criticism of him. Hate to say it, but some of the comparisons really do seem uncanny.

3. Godwin's law doesn't apply when talking about BushCo
Or any other group of people in power that have direct family connections and/or share common goals with the former German Nazi party. I'll call it "The tridim amendment".

4. I've noticed that nobody ever asks
how Hitler managed to come to power in a civilized country, depression or not.

Everybody knows now.
