87 billion dollars...the arrogance of this man...to think
that he can ask the American people for that figure is just complete and total arrogance. To think of how much our country needs this money for our own health care, education, and many other programs that are drained makes me puke.

As I sat there and listened to him say this money will build new schools, roads, hospitals, yada, yada, yada, for these people, I kept thinking of so many here in America who need it more. What ever happened to taking care of your "own" people first.

This has got to be one of the most disgusting speeches he has ever made.

6. it would be a cakewalk ...
they've picked on a couple of poor countries for the purpose of sucking America's resources into the hands of a few companies and people ... and, now, they want other countries to pump their resources into the Halliburton-Bechtel et al bank account, too

3. I just keep wondering
and asking where is all this money going and where will it come from?

He makes me sick...we went in and dismantled a country for NO reason and now we have to fix it...what a crock...

Bush has got to be held accountable for all this crap. I have to keep believing that what goes around does indeed come back to bite you in the butt. It's long overdue.

4. How about this?
What if Congress votes to give him the money with one simple provision:

Haliburton is specifically denied any contracts or revenues from this money in order to "avoid the appearance of impropriety."
