Another High Water Mark In American Journalism
Poll: Americans Hopeful About Second Term

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=544&ncid=716&e=6&u=/ap/20050116/ap_on_go_pr_wh/inaugural_poll

"Ahead of Bush's inauguration on Thursday, six in 10 people said they feel hopeful about his second term and 47 percent said they were worried. Most said they were neither angry nor excited about his final four years in office."

Guess they double counted that hopeful yet worried demographic.

Journalists, monkeys with word processors.

1. Interesting Story
"Almost two-thirds of those polled described Bush as likable, strong and intelligent. A majority said he is dependable and honest."

Guess they didn't ask us.

4. Not too bad, 60% out of at least 107%.

But with "most people" saying they had no opinion... His approval rating drops to around 25% out of... 200%? 300?

5. I noticed that fuzzy math, too.
How does six in 10 people (60 percent) versus another 47 percent equal 100 percent?

8. if there's a constituent that should be concerned
it's the gullibles; they trust and depend on and are easily shocked etc...so they should be in the lead in seeing bushinc for what it is TO THEM! but they happily stroll where angels fear to tread. Had the US had the wherewithal to defend itself and send the busheviks packing on Nov 2nd, then we'd be in the throes of the insane mess, cleaning it up and trying to placate implacable enemies whom our 'bush's' actions created ...and the mediawhores would be reporting honestly thus the very atmosphere would reek of endless dread...otoh this is so much more fun!...i only hope that 59 million americans DID vote for geeb....hey even if only 39 million voted for him, or 19 million...hell if even 10 million americans voted for geeb i can still enjoy this a bit, but- i fear that the truth is so awful it will never ever be believable, to wit, the true number of bush voters is at most 3 million or so, with the majority of the number consisting of mediawhores, biz types and SUV driving dupes creating a media sponsored fiction. Seeing america as a deceived nation, paralysed by disoganization compounded by the frantic efforts of a relatively few insane busheviks in critical positions to do so....then the revenge of seeing bush get away with it isn't revenge at all, it's a personal failure for me as a human being, as a man older then most humanity and unable to defend the sacred trust. So i hope and pray that 10, 20 or even 30 million americans voted for bush...oh please at least 10 million!
