COLOR LINE?

THE exclusive Dallas Country Club wouldn't let Alex Rodriguez join its ranks when he played for the Texas Rangers, as PAGE SIX reported at the time. But the wealthy Texans are rolling out the welcome mat for former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman, despite the fact that the club also has an informal "no superstars" policy. According to patrons of Bruce's Bakery & Restaurant in Great Neck, Aikman has a lock on getting admitted.

Pickles & Shrub to Abandon Pig Farm for Dallas Retirement

The charade of the "ranch" will be over. So, too, the punishing of the press corps in front of the fake rolls of hay.

First Lady: Home In Dallas May Be In Future
Mrs. Bush: 'We've Talked About It A Lot, Really'

After President George W. Bush completes his second term, he and the first lady will probably acquire a home in Dallas, in addition to their Crawford ranch, said first lady Laura Bush.

"That's where we were when George was elected governor," Laura Bush said at the White House on Friday. ....

"We've talked about it a lot, really," Laura Bush said. ....

We don't want them either! Why can't they go back EAST where they came from?

:puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke:

The sad thing is, they'll fit right into Highland Park. We should freakin annex HP; I am tired of these annoying rich bubble people running around thinking that they can tell us how to run our city.

(Edit: You know, I bet if we did that, they wouldn't move back here. Hmmmmm....)

7. I've always thought we should annex both HP and UP...
...it just does not make any sense to have these two little municipalities smack dab in the middle of Dallas.

But, I guess we all know that the reason is that money talks, and he who has the gold etc.

If we annex them, we could put in a nice wide freeway from Central to Love Field. HAH!

4. Highland Park or University Park?
Decisions.

Decisions.

SMU is nestled between the two neighborhoods, BTW.

Could be amusing to watch the locals pitch daily hissy fits over the Secret Service protection necessary!

5. I swear I saw a disappointed Shrub
right after the election. Very subdued at that press conference. Like he really did want to lose and be off the hook. Too bad buddy, it's all gonna stick to you for four more years.

17. I find this bashing other parts of the country on this board
pretty annoying.
I'm sure, Pearl, I could find a lot about Chicago to run-down if I really wanted to.

19. I wonder.....
..if Laura has realized that they will always live in a cage, as the most hated people on earth. Who would want them in the neighborhood? They will be a magnet for all kinds of trouble.
