Why listening to Condi Rice makes me puke.: Please read this book! |

I am sorry but I can't believe anything this administration or most government officials say anymore. I just finished a book given to me by my neighbor (the one with the two sons fighting in Iraq). The book, "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by former Consultant with a corporation that really is an arm of the CIA or intelligence operations of the US. His story will make you absolutely sick. And it makes me wonder why he hasn't met the fate of so many other whistle blowers. Perhaps because the government knows that his story is unbelievable that no one will take it seriously. I am currently trying to find out more about the author, John Perkins. If all that he says is true, we are all living a lie--some aware but many unaware. I just laughed to myself when I heard the few lines spewed out by Condi rice this morning. It's almost as though she is speaking from the pages of this book.
I am just sick, sick, sick about all of this from the Bush family regime to men and women who work for corporate America knowing full well that they are taking part in evil. I am stuck here on planet earth, but I sure wish I could get off somewhere in space.

3. Try reading WHAT WE'VE LOST by Graydon Carter published 2004 |
|
Editor in chief VANITY FAIR SINCE 1992, The man has credentials and respect....his book lists many examples with ref's of the blunders, the ulterior motives, the secrecy, etc of this administration.
Spooky and scarey is too mild....

I am amazed at how ignorant and naive I have been and I am one who thought I understood a lot of things. But I never could have imagined these things.
