8. stil 83/17 but you know what I've noticed about Wolfe's polls??
I've seen this real anti-Bush voting over and over and over again....and still the son of a bitch keeps hyping Bush, selling Bush, pissing on Dems, etc. You would think he and CNN would get a clue.

12. Not really
Wolf's and Lou Dobbs' polls almost always have overwhelmingly liberal outcomes.

We have a legal obligation to rebuild or at least secure the country.

Of course if we all remember the Oil was supposed to pay for our military operations as well as rebuilding the infrastructure (our bombs are so great there wouldn't be a lot of damage) and provide for the future of the Iraqi people......................................
................................................................
...................(whispering) oh and a little bitty return for our
Non-bidding contractors to0

14. Agreed
We should never have invaded int he first place, but now we're in we're stuck. We can't let it implode and we can't expect the world community to bail us out as they, quite rightly, opposed this reckless adventure in the first place. We need to step and pay the price (in blood and treasure).

Maybe, when the Bush* gang is thrown out of office and President Dean/Kerry/Clark/Clinton(!) takes office in Jan 2005, the international community might be more willing to help us as we will then be willing to co-operate with the international community ourselves. But until then we must accept the consequences of Bush*'s irresponsible actions.

We owe it to Iraq to clean up our own mess. (If that's at all possible, it is.) But I still voted no to give Whistle Ass a black-eye.

15. too bad that isn't where this money goes
billions have already gone to Brown & Root, Halliburton, Bechtel, etc, and they aren't even SHOWING UP to do the work!! Just cashing the checks and saving on expenses

those bastards can kiss my money goodbye

and I don't approve of using Iraqi oil funds to pay off these killers either.. that oil, and the money earned from selling it, belongs to the IRAQI GODDAMN PEOPLE. I'm sure they can rebuild their OWN infrastructure, they've been doing it since my white-assed forefathers were still poking each other with sticks...

10. People can say they're for the war all they want, but when you put it...
... in terms they can understand ($$), they overwhelmingly say "NO".

Despite polls saying people think we "did the right thing" in Iraq, they want it to be OVER. And NOW!

13. This clown remains so clueless
Today he got a call from a Canadian asking why, after being repeatedly insulting, Bush would expect other countries to clean up his mess.

Wolf said "When did Bush insult Canada?" Huh? Rummy told them to spend more on security, they glossed over the deaths in Afghanistan. Can Blitz really not understand how insulting Bush's arrogance is to all?

21. The greatest insult
was when our troops were killed in Afghanistan last year by an American bomb. I remember the morning it happened, and watching Bush stride to a microphone. Even CNN expected him to acknowledge the incident. He said...nothing. He said nothing for days, until his silence became such an issue he had to say something, anything. There have been many insults, from Bush and his thug ambassador, but that was a turning of the tide up here.

28. I OBJECT TO THE QUESTION!!
I wrote an email objecting to the question itself. Look at it:

"Should congress approve $87 billion for Iraq, Afghanistan and other efforts in the war on terror?"

There is no one in Iraq who has the capability of imposing terror on America, and there never was. The conquest and occupation of Iraq have nothing to do with any war on terror.

Also note that it is not the war on terrorism, but the war on terror!
