Say something you like about a candidate who's not your favorite |
|
I've been reading DU, and feel that we need some positivity. Kucinich is my favorite because he's closest to my views. I'll choose my second favorite, Dean:
Dean inspires people, and that's very important. The passion around him is refreshing. I think I'll be voting for him if Kucinich drops out. I even have a Dean screen saver on one of my computers, in preparation for a possible campaign.

10. Yep, a fellow Kucinich supporter |
|
I keep thinking that if Bush could be President, Kucinich should be able to. After all, Bush is probably more to the right than Kucinich is to the left. And far left is a lot better than far right IMO until you get to Communism.
Did you find the speech on his site?

Thanks for telling me about the speech |

I'm really glad that Kucinich has the guts to be for a single payer health-care plan.
About another candidate:
Braun could show Bush what true compassion is. She's such a nice person.

12. Joey deserves some respect and not just a little bit either ... |
|
I know he has grown into a real dingleberry in a lot of ways but in his youth, he went to Mississippi and was a Freedom Rider. That was dangerous, thankless and entirely moral thing to do. Good show on that, Joey. You WERE the man!

But Dean has done an incredible job of mobilizing a movement using unconventional methods.
I also like Kerry. I admire his war record and most of his legislative record.
I think al Sharpton has been the most impressive candidate until recently. His "spank the donkey" appeal was wonderful.
I will vote for whomever the Democrats nominate.

You may not believe this, but I like them all...except Lieberman. I would vote for Lieberman though, should he be the nominee. I like Al Sharpton for his quick wit and frankness. I like Dennis Kucinich a lot because he speaks my views.I like Carol Mosley Braun for her calm presence and grace....she has a great mind on those shoulders, too. I'm a Dean supporter. :-)

19. I love Elizabeth Edwards |
|
I wish she were the candidate. This isn't John's year, but I hope he tries again. I think he'll be a really good candidate in the future. I like that he married an older woman and hasn't ditched her for a blonde nymph with implants.
John Kerry is a good speaker - and appears to be a nice guy, irl.
Al Sharpton is wicked funny - best quips of the campaign.
Dennis Kucinich is smart, and has good ideas. We need him in the House, badly.
Carol Moseley Braun was great at the debate. She had tremendous promise - I wish she hadn't squandered it. That mess in Nigeria did her in.
Bob Graham would make a fine VP.
I like Dick Gephardt very much - and he's wonderful in person. I owe him big time, for spending a few hours on MY campaign in 2002. It breaks my heart that I can't support his candidacy. He was awesome in the debate.
Lieberman - well, Connecticut is a nice state. :7
Dean - I've committed.

I can say something nice about almost all of them, but I'll start with Sharpton. He's had the best soundbites (maybe aside from miserable failure), and I've been very impressed with him. Sorry he couldn't make the debate.

31. I have heard that Kerry went after EPA regulators . . . |
|
who were using the EPA to punish folks who the Bushies found objectionable.
I also like what he said tonight about "the war on terror" should be a matter of intelligence and straegic international police action, i.e. not a war. That is something I have been wanting someone to say for quite a while. It is very persuasive to the concerns of those who "support" Bush's war.
