Sign Social Security Petition from Democrats Org?

So far, more than 70,000 of you have signed our petition calling on President Bush to disavow the notion of tying Social Security benefits to race or gender.

Democrats were outraged when Rep. Bill Thomas (R-CA), chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee and Bush's point man in Congress on Social Security, suggested that the amount of Social Security checks should be tied to the race or gender of the person receiving it.
