So what is the latest on the person who caused the train wreck in CA?
I wonder why he wanted to commit suicide and if he too, had been in Iraq?

That aside, this incident proves that we are not any safer from terrorism with Bush in office and Saddam in jail.

1. He's in custody and may face 10 charges of murder. Tried to commit suicide
but changed his mind at the last second and got out of the SUV

4. I heard this, but wonder why wouldn't you just accelerate
and get off the tracks? Wouldn't this be a quicker exit strategy? Otherwise, you have to open the door, get out (don't trip) and run like heck (if the train is coming)... I just don't understand getting OUT of the car and leaving it there.

5. see post 3...
also, remember the supposed "murder attempt" on katherine Harris???

The BFEE has trillions of dollars to use in nefarious, psy-opping ways.

7. The SUV was stuck on the tracks.
Apparently, this asshole drove off the crossing, onto the tracks, and managed to get the wheels of the SUV wedged between the rails.

8. Apparently he slashed his wrists and stabbed himself last night, then
tried to commit suicide by driving and staying on the tracks, but at the last minute he got out of the Jeep.

3. He commits suicide by jumping clear?
His handler's hold on him must have been interrupted and he came out of his hypnotic trance just in time????...

Google MKUltra and MindWar...

Maybe the BFEE needed a big domestic distraction to divert attention away from the votes on the confirmations of Bush Administration war criminals and more bad news about Iraq...

All the way through the looking glass, my friends...

6. Mmmmmhmmmmm, that's a little out there.
I think I'll skip the tinfoil hat conspiracies and chalk this up to someone who was obviously mentally ill.

12. I don't believe in coincidences...
And I don't put anything past them...

In these times, paranoia is a survival mechanism.

13. Mmmmhmmm, it's also a good way to make us all look like fools
when the media paints everyone here as fanatics who see Bushco hands in every little thing that goes wrong.

Hint: Sometimes a psycho is just a psycho.

9. Juan Manuel Alveraz, 26
The man, identified as Juan Manuel Alvarez, 26, of Compton, stood by as the train hit the SUV, Adams said. Alvarez had also tried to slash his wrists and stabbed himself, authorities said.

"There is no terrorism or terrorist act involved," Adams said.

14. If you're going to try to insult Dean with your screen name, the least you
could do is actually spell it correctly.
