DRAFT DAVID WELLSTONE FOR MINNESOTA's 2008 SENATE RACE!!

I'm not from Minnesota, but your Senator the late Paul Wellstone is the reason I still believe that we can make a difference if we just empower ourselves to organize and stand up to the GOP, needless to say he has been the inspiration for so many of us to keep on fighting.
I only heard his son David speak publically once, it was when he spoke at his father's memorial, and I am convinced that the firery Wellstone passion runs just as hot in him as it did in Paul.

I've since been a small contributor to www.Wellstone.org, and greatly admire the work that he and his brother Mark have done to help people organize. But we need David Wellstone more than ever in 2008. Not because he shares the same name as one of our great heroes, not because he is his father's son, but because his father taught him better, and I think that thats enough for us to trust him in continuing the great progressive legacy his father left behind.

He does have the famous Wellstone enthusiasm! I do know know enough about him yet to decide whether I would support him as our senator, but I would not be against getting to know what he is about and what his qualifications are.
