Never looked at the UK forum, although I've been around for a while. I'm planning to cut CDs and invite friends and neighbors over to watch them on TV. I did that for the presidential debates, and we all had a wonderful time and animated political discussion.

your profile... to see you've been around long... :-) oops.
The maker of the program, when asked, said that they were not planning to distribute a "legal" CD version as they include soooo much footage from many many sources, and that the montage would require some permissions that the BBC has, but perhaps could not get for separate distribution.
The series is really quite brilliant.. a real good idea you have to organize a showing.

out there for anyone who might like to d/l it...PM me for info. I'd post them here as it's not for sale anywhere (and the BBC says it's unlikely to be), but I dunno if that's kosher...so yeah, PM me if interested. :)
