Come spit nails with me...
I turned on the news this AM at 5 (Fox because I wanted to get the weather, and it comes on earliest), and they are reviewing *'s speech last night. Blah blah blah, 87 billion blah blah blah terrorism blah blah GRRRRR. Then they had congressional reaction, Bob Graham ripping into the president. What happened next had me firing up my computer to dash off a letter to Fox2 in Detroit. "Many Democratic leaders and candidates support Bush's actions and plans", I poise for a picture of Leiberman...and good golly (that's a cleaned up version of what I really said) it's a picture of none other than Howard Dean. WTF???? How can this station get away with that? Not only a picture of him walking with Gephardt (I am guessing at the debate), but his name underneath. How can they be allowed to get away with that kind of inference? Was this some kind of ploy to get uninformed Democrats to turn from Dean's campaign? I don't know but it really juiced me up. I demanded a clarifying statement tomorrow. Gee, do you think they'll give it????

1. Hi, Mrs G.

:hi:
I've spit so many nails over the Fox affiliate here that I refuse to watch it anymore. I'd be very surprised if you get a clarifying statement, but send the email, by all means.

A little OT, but eyesroll gave a very good description of the quality of reporting we get from the Fox station here. The female anchor says things like, "And today, American forces in Afghanistan were attacked by, get this--the Taliban".:eyes:

Edited to fix emoticon
Edited again for typo (D'oh)

2. A suggestion...
...get your weather off the internet.

- I've blocked out CNN, MSNBC and FOX and refuse to watch them.

3. I am lazy...computer downstairs, turn t.v. on while brewing coffee for my
beloved. Shame on me. Guess I will try not to be so lazy. I should have stuck with watching the episode of All in the Family on Nick.

4. Hey, it's a compliment!
Of course Shrubby wants everyone to think Dean supports him, and he probably sent a little memo over to the Fox graphics team.
