What will the US State Media say in 2 weeks???
Because 2 weeks from now the "breathless excitement" over the sham "election" will have passed by; more US troops will be dead & wounded; more Iraqis will be dead & wounded; the rebellion will continue unabated.

US troops are not leaving Iraq for at least the next 2 years, and the top US general Franks just said for the next 8-10 years.

What will the US State Media use to justify bush two weeks from now? Just "deadenders" trying to upset the temporary National Assembly from selecting an Iraqi government next December??? Are even rightwingnuts stupid enough to fall for that? Oops ignore that. Dumb Q!

1. Pretty much, they'll say what they're * told * to say.

2. yup, deadenders derailing democracy.
insurgents will be battling to "stop the next election, because they hate how freedom has taken hold."

meanwhile, those that agreed to put down their guns to give politics a shot will slowly realize what a lie it all is and pick up the guns again.

3. "Time to go"--my Feb 7 prediction
After all, the blazing, incredible success of the Iraqi election shows that the hunger for democracy ensures that blah blah blah blah blah Mission accomplished, Democracy and freedom established, if anything fs up now its not our fault and don't forget to write."

My prediction--announcement and some withdrawal by Feb 7.

4. They'll claim victory like they did in Afghanistan no matter
WHAT is going on and against all reality. It's really pathetic but once Bush gets an election he can tout that as a victory and the media/America lap it up!
