I was reading metafilter and saw this post.... what a great idea"
"I would love to see a Pop-Up Pundit TV show. This could either be a recorded show where two pundits debate freely, but upon being aired the debate is full of those Pop Up Video bubbles with fact checking and context information. Or the show could be a weekly round-up of punditry, complete with the pop-ups.
The show would be non-partisan and could include segments of Great Moments in Punditry (as Read by Children) from the Daily Show. posted by robocop is bleeding

2. That's an awesome idea! |

This is even something that someone could do theirselves with just a PC and a video editing program. Upload a bit-torrent to the net and instant TV syndication. I wonder how this could be engineered to stay just inside of the fair use laws so that someone doing it wouldn't get sued into oblivion by Fox?

3. There Needs To Be A Left-Oriented Food Fight |
|
Earlier I was watching the rerun of last night's Daily Show. During the commercial break I flipped to CNNservative, and there was Mrs. Rushbo Limbaugh still yapping about what a great "election" happened in Iraq.
The tube is flooded with one-sided right wing bash session. I'd love to see someone start up a left-wing version. The last example of such a show was P.I. The current Mahrer show is too much Mahrer, not enough others...and isn't on nightly. It'd be fun to watch three or four liberal/progressives...maybe a Conservative thrown in there to beat up on...for 30 minutes a day. I think it'd be good therapy for millions.
