4. OMG -- did you see the evangelists

on Larry King the other night? He had the whack job Tim LaHaye, along with his wife, Franklin Graham, and a couple others on. Two of the guests were evangelicals, but not so bigoted and racist as most of them are. But Graham and LaHaye truly believe we're in the end times. I thought it was so odd how they could sit there and say the only way to heaven is through Jesus, with Jewish Larry King sitting there. I guess they pray he'll see the light.

who could try to have a little more positive attitude toward Armageddon perhaps by following the example set by end-times enthusiasts such as my coworker's former brother-in-law -- who bought an expensive snowmobile he couldn't really afford, on the grounds that the Rapture would come before he would have to make too many payments. True story, and should be an inspiration to us all.
