Evangelicals already promoting Social Security

Email I received tonight from my friend Rita.

"I just got a wrong number call from an evangelical church tonight. They were pushing the Social Security personal account. I think this is going to be another battle here. I feel sorry for our boys in Iraq the focus is coming off of the deaths in Iraq and onto Social Security just like the run up to the election did.

They aren't concerned about the old people or the people with physical and mental disabilities. What about our poor soldiers coming home who are disabled? What is going to take care of them?

Chile, Argentina, and Great Britain have personal accounts and now that the people want to retire there is no money there so they are forced to work longer. They want to switch their systems to replicate our present system of social security.

They can't account for 80 billion dollars in Iraq and now that the Bush Administration has used the surplus of our social security what better way to get out of their mess than to shift money which will be more difficult to account for it accurately.

I am so angry and tired of their lies. Bush in 1978 said that the system would be bankrupted by 1988 and it is good till 2042 using a conservative number. The money that they are using from the social security trust fund may be bankrupt. Wish they would have put a lock and key on it as Al Gore wanted to do. What are we going to do?

2. They are going to have a big problem

when their maker comes a calling. The person that I recognize as Jesus preached to help the weak and the needy!! Not to shit on them and kick them out into the gutters!! The moral right will be on the wrong side of the Lord when they face him in their end!!!
