shill Woodruff wants CNN to hire Rove

http://mediamatters.org/items/200502040001

CNN's Woodruff: "I think we're ready to hire Karl Rove right now."

From the February 3 edition of CNN's Inside Politics:

WOODRUFF: Here's a teaser of a question: Is Karl Rove looking for a new job? The president's senior adviser ran into our John King today during Mr. Bush's Social Security event in Fargo, North Dakota. Look at what happened.

4. The House of Saud and House of Bush already own AOL/TimeWarner/CNN
with Rove directing. So, why would Rove get in front of a camera he already partly owns and fully directs?

7. Excellent point. But who can say what his motivations are?
Money doesn't cover it, power he puts in the hands of others.

10. He's a master of manipulative propanda right out of
"Mein Kampf" although Hitler claims to have learned it from the Americans and British during WWI. I think he gets his rocks off succeeding at spreading The Big Lie over and over again and in various different disguises.

13. I Think He's Still Trying to Get Back at Barbara Boxer
Who, when he was the tender age of seven, knocked him off his girl's bicycle with the basket and the little glittery tassles and beat the everlasting fuck out of him.

21. Fantastic point
Most of these blab-blabbers on television today didn't even attend J-School. They are there by virtue of some position they held and don't know the first thing about feretting out news, writing it and certainly even less about the ethics involved.
We need to demand that our news outlets hire newspeople - not talking heads.
It would be interesting to see a list of the personalities on these news shows and where they went to school and what they studied in and what they did before becoming a blab-blabber.

9. My first response is that it is just light hearted banter
But the reality is that KKKarl has been showing his face more and more in the last few months. Maybe he's testing the waters.

And sadly, CNN already does what the WH wants so it wouldn't be much of a stretch. They might as well let the * administration have a couple offices in the CNN bldg.

12. Don't think that they don't already...
Some time ago, it was documented that the CIA had place people inside CNN. I don't have the link, but it was factual.

20. Makes sense to me
Come Jan. 2009, Rove will be out of work. He has been very successful as a political and campaign advisor, (Governor of Texas x2, president of the USA x2). Seems to me his commentary on electoral politics would be worth hearing. Who is better at it ?
