Summer, 1973---I was on my first trip to

Europe and was in Paris when I noticed a buzz about "Watergate." Being dumb and young and uninformed, I brushed off the "burglary" ....BIG DEAL!!

30 years later, Summer 2003....there's a buzz about lying, secrecy, no WMD's, a 911 report that will be "explosive" even though it has been stonewalled....

August 9, 1974--Nixon resigns aboard AF1 as he's running back to California...

30 years later-----
August-Sept 2004--Conventions and the GOP will be in NYC trying to exploit 911. The internet has been humming --will NYC be the flashpoint that helps get Bush on that plane back to Crawford?????

1. Could be, Gloria..
We've got to keep up the pressure on the bushies and the media. Seems since they got what they wanted from Little Lord Powell, they've stopped using the kid gloves a bit. It almost seems as if they've decided it's time to expose him.

While they are still knocking our nine candidates, I'm getting a sense that they are rooting for Wesley Clark to emerge. It's just my spidey sense tingling a bit. I hope I'm right.

2. Re: Clark....I'm wondering if he's lining up $$$$$$$$behind the scenes
and will announce after the first of the year....if he's a Democrat, that is!! (still has people wondering). If he were to do that, he would emerge "fresh" at the start of the heavy political season....his "freshness" alone could grab a lot of instant visiblity.....

3. I still don't trust Clark.....never have.
I think he's an opportunist, and I don't think he's far enough removed from the ultra-powerful connections that put Bush in and got Kennedy assassinated. I think he's one of them.

Ok...so they had a special on tinfoil at the Super.
