About that invasion of Iran... |
|
If (IF!) Iran poses a serious threat to us now or in the near future, will this administration have enough credibility to do anything about it? After Iraq, are we going to be able to take anything that the government says (when it comes to military action) seriously?
This kinda' reminds me of the story of Cassandra, the cursed prophetess. She could see the future perfectly, but no one would believe her.

1. If Iran could pose a real threat to the US, |
|
our government would never think of invading.
Still, I doubt this current administration cares about public support or credibility. These are the guys who tried to put Henry Kissinger at the head of the 9-11 Commission, after all.

2. They Don't Need Credibility Anymore |

We live in Totalitarianism. They just havn't said this to the American people yet. They have told the Democratic Party by their actions during the elections, just not in words.

3. Bush won't attack a country that is a real threat. |
|
We didn't invade Iraq because it was dangerous, we invaded because it was weak and available. Bush was looking for an easy victory to show the world and the muslims.
We will leave Iran alone just as we left NK alone.
