Is anyone listening to Fresh Air with Lynne Cheney?
Edited on Wed Feb-09-05 07:32 PM by Redneck Socialist
Terri Gross brought up the PBS cartoon with the lesbian moms. Apparently it is all about sex for Lynne. Shouldn't have government money involved with teaching about sexuality according to Lynne.

Terry kept trying to point out the cartoon had nothing to do with sex and suggested that it was merely an accurate reflection of real life. (Lesbians with kids! Oh my stars! What's next! :eyes: ) Lynne interrupted Terri and said that it is about sexuality.

Now Terri's asking about Lynne's daughter. Go get her Terri!

On edit: Spelling

3. What sexuality?!!!!
Urgh, out of the whole group of them, Lynne irks me the most. Laura's only saving grace is that she is occasionally gracious, Lynne is just downright nasty.

Unless they were actually demonstrating pouring syrup over each other while naked, I highly doubt there was any teaching of sexuality in that episode.

9. You know, the kind of sexuality Lynne Cheney used to write about
After writing all that gay romantic fiction, it does seem like a bit of a stretch for her to end up in the sack with Cyborg Dick. But who am I to question their perfectly healthy marriage which resulted in the birth of only one openly homosexual child -- that we know about, anyway.

10. That's a great point!
Why are the Cheneys exposing people to lesbians? Why do they hate America?

7. Terri brought that up...
Lynne denied that there were lesbians in it.

I haven't read it but I've alway heard it was pretty much soft core porn with lesbians.

6. I heard it
I heard it and the first thing that I thought was then all parents shown on TV are about sex. Heck, all people on TV deal with sex since without sex there would be no people.

It is just sad that people get this upset about Lesiban cartoons. I don't even want to think about how upset they'd get if they actually meant a gay person in real life.

8. The whole thing was ridiculous
When Terry asked her about her daughter and Lynne answered
"terry, you've asked me more about this subject than you have of any of your interviews in the last six months." Terry acquiesed and said good bye. I'd have asked her how many other mother of Lesbians who are the wife of the Vice President has Terry interviewed." How many people are such hypocrites? I don't think many.
For Lynne Cheney to deny her book is about Lesbians is beyond belief. A few months ago one of the Websites had portions of her book you could read on line. I'm sure you could google it. Unfortunately I just deleted my emails telling people about it.

11. Terry Gross is absolutely the best
interviewer out there--bar none. She makes Barbara WaWa look like the rank amateur she is.
