http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/user-posts?id=113711

Are the fascists using closet gays to do their dirty work because
1. they already hate themselves
2. they are easy to manipulate with threats of "outing"

Seems to be so many tales of closeted individuals in Washington politics...

Chorus Gets Louder for Gorelick Testimony

Posted by Jeff Gannon to mcshot
On News/Activism 04/29/2004 2:40:05 PM PDT · 30 of 34

From today's WH briefing:

JEFF GANNON, TALON NEWS: Some Republicans on Capitol Hill believe that the work of the 9/11 Commission won't be complete until and unless Jamie Gorelick testifies before the commission on her role in building the wall between intelligence and law enforcement. Is that an opinion shared by the White House?

MR. McCLELLAN: Look, the President -- I think even at the beginning of the meeting, he made some brief remarks. He didn't have a prepared opening statement or anything like that, but certainly made some opening remarks at the beginning. And, essentially, I think he thanked them for the work that they're doing, talked about how he appreciated what they were doing and that their work is very important to what we -- what we are doing to protect the American people.

And I think that the President looks at this and doesn't believe there ought to be finger-pointing. We ought to all be working together to learn the lessons of September 11th and make sure that we are doing everything that we can to protect the homeland and win the war on terrorism. That's the way -- that's the way he looks at it.

JEFF GANNON, TALON NEWS: Well, the Justice Department keeps releasing documents. They released another -- they declassified 30 pages yesterday that reinforce the idea that Commissioner Gorelick has more that she could offer to --

MR. McCLELLAN: I understand that's what the Justice Department did. We were not involved in it. I think the President was disappointed about that.

Bush, Cheney Prepare for 9/11 Panel Meeting (New Gorelick papers released)

Posted by Jeff Gannon to Angelwood
On News/Activism 04/29/2004 4:33:19 AM PDT · 30 of 40

From Wednesday's White House press briefing:

JEFF GANNON, TALON NEWS: Is there any agreement between the White House and the 9/11 Commission regarding the President's and the Vice President's remarks tomorrow -- that is not revealing them to the public, and only including them in the report? Or should we expect to see commissioners on television tomorrow afternoon characterizing those remarks?

MR. McCLELLAN: I don't know what the commission's plans are following the meeting. I know that when they met with President Clinton and Vice President Gore, that they put out a statement afterwards and pretty much let that speak for the meeting. But I don't know -- I don't know what their plans are for tomorrow.

JEFF GANNON, TALON NEWS: Is Commissioner Gorelick going to participate in this tomorrow? Or is she going to recuse herself?

MR. McCLELLAN: We've been told that all ten commission members will be present tomorrow.

See how convenient his role is to this administration? It's obvious to me that the White House was in cahoots with this creepy imposter.

18. LOL - below are details on the Fake Reporter operation Howie Kurtz defends
This the "Jeff Gannon" operation that Howie Kurtz insists is a legitimate News Org that should be a standard question asker at White House news briefings.

In 1999 aerospace engineer Bobby Eberle started a Web-design company for Republican candidates. Eberle is the president and CEO of both GOPUSA, a news and commentary Website, whose motto is "Bringing the conservative message to America" and Talon. Brother Bruce Earle started GOPUSA and is CEO of Virginia-based Eberle Communications Group, a vast fundraising/direct mail/PR powerhouse that boasts such clients as Ronald Reagan, Operation Rescue, Oliver North and Paula Jones, and which illegally sold fund-raising lists to John Ashcroft during his failed United States Senate run for the seat from Missouri.

GOPUSA now gets about 30,000 page views every day. In 2000, when it started, it received about 3,000 views per month. GOPUSA is a 100 percent volunteer-run company. Bobby Eberle has served as president of the Houston Young Republicans, director of club development of the Texas Young Republican Federation and as a three-term state chairman of the Texas Young Republican Federation. He was a delegate to the 2000 Republican Convention in Philadelphia and was vice chairman at large of the Young Republican National Federation. In July 2003 he spoke on "Should Americans Who Don't Pay Taxes Have a Say?", asserting those who do not pay actual cash as a tax collected by the Federal Income Tax should not have a vote - no other tax collection payment should qualify one for a vote, but would give everyone the vote once the Federal Income Tax is replaced by a consumption tax.

Eberle notes. We have about 50 people involved nation wide with the day-to-day operations. We have folks in 40 of the 50 states who help update their state sections with news and commentary. Our e-mail magazine goes out on Mondays. And all that with no paid advertising. I believe in personal responsibility rather than collectivism, so it never occurred to me to call the Democrats. What I really like about Bush is that he stays on message and keeps coming. Family: Wife Kathleen, a physician children; Charlotte 7 and Robert III ("Tres"); Roman Catholic. Insists genuine religious faith inevitably influences political opinions http://www.gopusa.com/ http://www.talonnews.com/

http://www.dkosopedia.com/index.php/Eberle_Communications_Group

Eberle Communications Group, is a fundraising/direct marketing/PR firm with extensive ties to Republican Party politics (clients list includes Reagan, Ollie North, Paula Jones) and whose is CEO of the Virginia-based company is Bruce Eberle, whose brother owns GOPUSA and the "news agency" Talon News and its White House correspondent "Jeff Gannon" is well-known for asking loaded pro-Republican questions at White House press briefings, and appears to be more a political organization than a media outlet From Right wing FreeRepublic website http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1075501/posts?page=264 "02/10/2004 This was the exchange at today's White House press briefing, much of which focused on George W. Bush's service records with the National Guard: JEFF GANNON (Talon News): Since there have been so many questions about what the President was doing over 30 years ago, what is it that he did after his honorable discharge from the National Guard? Did he make speeches alongside Jane Fonda, denouncing America's racist war in Vietnam? Did he testify before Congress that American troops committed war crimes in Vietnam? And did he throw somebody else's medals at the White House to protest a war America was still fighting? What was he doing after he was honorably discharged?

MR. McCLELLAN: We've already commented on some of his views relating back to that period the other day. And, obviously, this was a time period also when he was going to get his MBA at Harvard. But the President was certainly proud to serve in the National Guard.

TERRY MORAN (ABC NEWS): And would the White House consider those actions by Senator Kerry, that Jeff mentions fair game in the political season?

MR. McCLELLAN: Terry, I think -- I know that that's a way to try to draw us into a Democratic primary that is ongoing.

Eberle Communications Group is:

ECG's Company Officers are listed on 1/31/05 as:

Bruce Eberle, President, Eberle Communications Group, Inc.

Black America's Political Action Committee (BAMPAC) supports conservative policies and African-American candidates, even though numerous candidates listed on its website were either Caucasian or Hispanic. Its name misleadingly suggests that it represents the point of view of African-Americans, but in fact opinion polls and voting patterns show that the vast majority of African-Americans disagree with BAMPAC's political positions.

15. And check out this page about "Gannon's" involvement in the Plame case...
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1093819/posts

In particular, check out the exchanges between the creep & "John Galt"...

To: ConservativeMajority
Mr.Gannon is not being truthful when he says he does not know why he is being subpoenaed. When he interviewed Wilson last October he made reference to "an internal government memo" purporting to be the minutes of a meeting at which Plame played a key role in getting her husband the Niger assignment.
From the interview: TN: An internal government memo prepared by U.S. intelligence personnel details a meeting in early 2002 where your wife, a member of the agency for clandestine service working on Iraqi weapons issues, suggested that you could be sent to investigate the reports. Do you dispute that?

Since the Niger Uranium documents have been judged forgeries, Gannon is suggesting that he was made privy to counterfeit official/government documents which is a crime, and a separate crime at that and logically he would be hauled in front of a grand jury probing the Plame affair.

...by John Galt...

To: JohnGalt
Your professed insight into the motivation of the Grand Jury is merely guesswork.

The document in question has never been acknowleged by any government agency to even exist.

This is a one-sided investigation where people are being accused of crimes for revealing names and information that may have not been secret in the first place.

...by Jeff Gannon...

To: Jeff Gannon
That is simply not true, Jeff.

You are ensnared because you made reference to a government document, which appears to have been a forgery. You need to tell the Grand Jury who made you privy to that document.

...by John Galt...

To: JohnGalt
I disagree with your characterization of the document itself, but that aside, I maintain that I am under no obligation whatsoever to reveal my sources. That is a fundamental element of maintaining a free press.

...by Jeff Gannon...

To: Jeff Gannon
Don't you reference the document in this December 2003 interview posted on your web site? Does the document exist or not, Jeff? You would not even have to reveal a source to answer that question, now would you?
Jeff Gannon, the White House correspondent and Washington Bureau Chief for Talon News declined to reveal whether he had seen the memo or had its contents described to him.

While he would not disclose his source, Gannon said, "I will tell you that the information did not come from inside the administration."

"For something that is supposed to be classified, it seems that this document is easily accessible," Gannon added. "Washington is leaking like a cheap umbrella. Just look at what's happening over on Capitol Hill."

...by John Galt...

To: JohnGalt
I do indeed. So talking about a document, that no government agency confirms even exists, is a crime?

...by Jeff Gannon...

16. I couldn't have said THIS better myself!
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 03:12 AM by BurtWorm
From the Galt/Gannon exchange on freep:

To: Jeff Gannon
There is an on going FBI investigation into the forged Nigerian Uranium documents.

You were made privy to either a document/information (you have declined to share in what form how you got the information) that suggested a meeting involving Plame and intelligence officials that never occurred.

It is against the law to forge government documents and thus it is only logical that investigators would ask where you obtained the document, or b) who told you about the memo. Investigators need to determine who forged the documents and prosecute the individuals accordingly.

If you think forged government documents are "even less important" I disagree, but what about your credibility as a journalist. Someone set you up, or b) you were duped by the forged document, and you don't care?

I find that hard to believe, and suggest that you are posturing here in cyberspace. You do care, you should care, and I suspect you are not looking forward to your G Gordon Liddy moment that awaits you.
