BREAKING: North Korea admits to having nukes
As DOCTOR Rice tours Europe and warns about Iran:

BREAKING NEWS
The Associated Press
Updated: 1:58 a.m. ET Feb. 10, 2005

SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea publicly admitted Thursday for the first time that it has nuclear weapons, and said it wouldn’t return to six-nation talks aimed at getting it to abandon its nuclear ambitions.

Diplomats have said that North Korea has acknowledged having nuclear arms in private talks, but this is the first time the communist government has said so directly to the public.

“We had already taken the resolute action of pulling out of the (Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty) and have manufactured nukes for self-defense to cope with the Bush administration’s ever-more undisguised policy to isolate and stifle the DPRK,” the North Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency.

DPRK refers to the country’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

North Korea’s “nuclear weapons will remain (a) nuclear deterrent for self-defense under any circumstances,” the ministry said. “The present reality proves that only powerful strength can protect justice and truth.”

6. Yep rummy was on the board of directions of the company
that sold the reactors that CANNOT produce nuclear material for bombs. They fired back again their older plant that was meant for producing nukes after George decided to cut all food aid to Korea in 2001, after george got sworn in... anything but Clinton was their policy

11. thank you: by the way
i've heard reports of the use of napalm in iraq, maybe afghanistan, too. i get the feeling that it's like an old blue-light special with arms dealers, who have dramatically slashed prices on aging weapons, chemical and otherwise, clearing out the back rooms of armories before their products have degraded beyond use over time.

13. It does, the balance of power in Asia
but it changes nothing...

Also Kim is known for giving this tech around (together with Khan of Pakistani fame) so those nightmares of a terrarist using one of these things on a Western, let alone American city, are a tad more concrete now... not by much, but juat a tad more

(for the record I would be far more worried about the misisng rusian nukes and all them X-Ray machine cores)

10. Can we win against: Iraq, Iran and Korea at the same time? WTF?
It sounds like things are heating up. He is publicly taking the defensive against BUSH. Not just saying, they have nukes in general.
We are so fucked.

“We had already taken the resolute action of pulling out of the (Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty) and have manufactured nukes for self-defense to cope with the Bush administration’s ever-more undisguised policy to isolate and stifle the DPRK,” the North Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency."

19. Nope this is a third front
technically Iran and Iraq are the same front, as well as Afghanistan, that is why I am being nice... Iran and Iran front one, Afghanistan front two, and Korea front three.

would be rampant in the globe...the smoking gun would be a mushroom cloud...there'd be a grave and gathering threat from WMD's...axis' of evils' and outposts of tyranny would determine our foreign policy...
