Bloggers ROCK!!!!
Talk about doing their work...

From today's Chicago Trib:

<<SNIP>>
WASHINGTON -- A conservative reporter who asked President Bush a loaded question at a news conference last month resigned Wednesday after liberal bloggers uncovered his real name and raised questions about his background.
<</SNIP>>

If they aren't going to do investigative reporting, then I guess it's up to us.

Way to go guys!

Just wanted to say I appreciate all your efforts.

4. Yes you did! :-) What is the name of the new plant that Atrios identified
It is hard to keep track of/ tell the difference between the direct check media whores, the GOP paid fake media whores . and the speaking engagement/access/GOP employer big media mediawhores - now that they are all owned by the GOP.

I like the way the GOP keeps the bribe level down by not letting it become public the current pay scale of the media whore players.

These poor folks need agents like sports folk have so they can get past the GOP salary caps.

2. It is the dawn of a new age of journalism.
You're right-on: If the MSM isn't going to do it, the people will have to.

5. Open Source Journalism.
Everyone has a stake in it and everyone can contribute to the story. Peer review will provide self correction...if it's BS, it won't stand. If nothing else, this shows us how we can by-pass the corporate Republican-biased media filter and provide real information to fight for our democracy.
