PHOTO: bush* with badly-injured Marine, BEFORE revoking his purple heart
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 11:41 AM by diamond14

this SAD Photo-collage says it all.....why does OUR Military STILL support the bush* cabal? haven't they figured this out yet?

And then today a Marine learns he has to give back the Purple Heart he was awarded because his crushed pelvis and legs were from an American accident, not an enemy wound. He’ll also learn that Bush’s new budget cuts benefits for non-combat wounded Vets (20% of all Vets), doubling wounded vets’ drug co-payments and creating an annual fee.

1. Could Bush order the Purple Heart restored?
Doesn't that fall under his authority as Commander in Chief?

4. True. But Bush could make himself look good here if he played his cards
right. Would issuing an order as commander in chief ordering the medals restored really be so difficult and time consuming? He could set himself apart from the bumbling bureaucrats at the Penatgon (or at least appear to do so anyway) and make it look like he actually honors the service of US troops. I bet you Clinton or even Reagan would do this.

5. Barney Fife is merely "Supporting his Troops"
in the genuine "compassionate conservative" way. After all, What would Jesus do?
