Hillary and McCain: interesting chemistry....
Anyone see this week's Meet The Press? Hillary and McCain were on together. Interesting chemistry between them.... enough to almost make one wonder what's going on....... wink wink, nudge, nudge.... ya know what I mean?

1. I don't think its anything like that.

I actually was wondering if we would see a Clinton\McCain ticket in 08. I don't like the idea, but it kind of makes sense. There's a huge gap in this country maybe they think a bipartisan ticket could fill it.

3. It would have have to be McCain/Clinton
If McCain wouldn't run with Kerry as teh VP, I doubt he would run with Clinton as VP.

9. I guess you missed the Monty Python reference....
I wasn't wondering about their running together. But maybe they both seemed a bit coy about their trip to NH for other reasons.

This was a lame topic to bring up. My apologies.

4. "After you, Alphonse." LOL!
Seriously, though, I think we can chalk up a lot of it to the two of them having worked together on the Senate Armed Services Committee. It's long been the case that even lawmakers with huge disagreements in political areas work together well in the Senate. And I get the impression that the Senate Armed Services Committee still holds on to a bipartisan atmosphere due to the approach of Chairman John Warner and ranking member Carl Levin.

Obviously JM and HRC are in different camps politically, but both are very much inclined to bipartisan efforts. A lot of that is just the Senate, some of that is HRC's effort to build connections to her colleagues, and the rest is probably the collegial relationship they've built up.

8. Simmer down there, Clark2008.
I refer to Hillary Rodham Clinton by all three names. That's just how I operate.

Neither came across as argumentative partisan hacks
