I'd have a Mexican food cook too if I had to have a cook.
I'd rather cook for myself though.

1. I agree, this is a non-issue. |

What The Chimp eats is really the last thing that needs to be criticized. This asshole is killing people by the thousands and we're worried about his dinner and who's making it? Silly.

bush cabal. Firing the chef because they have such poor taste is just so representative of the backward and regressive nature of the neocons.
I'd opt for Mexican food too, but wouldn't fire the chef over it. Just imagine his versions of Mexican - yow, I bet he could make some great stuff; not the pseudo-Taco Bell bullshit the shrub wants.
(I agree that we've got bigger fish to fry than worry over this, except that I feel for the chef. Though a chef who ran the White House isn't going to be unemployed long, at all.)

5. Hey! Tex Mex isn't "poor taste!!!" |
|
I resemble that remark.
Seriously, being a great fusion, modern American, or French chef almost guarantees you wouldn't know a burrito from a burro.

Tex Mex is really just border peasant food
draws a little from both cultures and is cheap ingredients cooked cheaply and easily.

4. I don't think the boy from Connecticut is really into TexMex. |
|
Maybe Laura because she is a real Texan but I don't think Georgie is really into it. I mean with Johnson, you always heard about the BBQ's at his ranch and with the Reagans, there were tacos at the Santa Barbara ranch, but I never hear about Bush choking on enchiladas or having tortilla chips and salsa.
Can you dip pretzels into salsa?
