What happens when the people learn they are being played for fools? |
|
Not just on the Social Security scam, but every other issue this Administration has promoted. From taxes to the war in Iraq, they have lied to the American people and the world. It's their idea of "reality". They define it their way. Nothing external can affect its definition.
But the arrogance of those that look down their noses and use people as little tools in their propaganda revolution is more than just a bit disconcerting. Just as the world is "mooning" Bush at this moment, the time is coming when it will be exposed that the emperor has no clothes...

1. Some victims of abuse will seek to escape and make a new life. |
|
Some will stay with an abuser because the truth is more than they can face.
We need to consider building conceptual supportive 'shelters' and half-way houses for people to use as rest stops as they traverse the mine field of waking up and seeing how the malAdministration has used and abused the good name of America and her people. It will be a hard road for many people and we need to help them cross it.

but many may stubbornly refuse to ever admit to themselves that that's the case. Like you, I keep wanting to believe the Bush administration's house of cards, built on never-ending lies, will collapse under its own weight.

3. One of two things will happen |

1) Revolution, probably violent, because I simply cannot envision ANY circumstance in which the Imperials would relinquish power, even given the Quaint Holdover from Free America of changing Emperors every 8 years.
2) Nazi/Soviet type brutality (not EXACTLY like they did and perhaps even a wee bit Kinder and Gentler, but in the same family of action), as these fools wake up and still looking for someone to blame and REFUSING (as people are wont to do) to consider that it was THEY who were the fool and responsible as a Good German for Hitler, the Goebbels v2.0 propaganda machine will give them PLENTY of directions for their anger.
Actually, given the direction the overall general character of the Imperial Subjects of Amerika is going, I think allowing and even helping the Bushevik Sturmtruppen carry out #2 is much more likely.

5. It is telling to note that Bush understands that "democracy" in Iraq |
|
must be secured at the barrel of a gun. That is why we cannot withdraw until a "security" force is in place, he says. He believes in "security" forces.

Everytime I meet a true right winger I learn that they listen to rush or michael savage, hannity etc.
They are the ones that tell them that up is down and in is out and black is white.

8. Even the NRA is pissed at Bush |
|
because his latest budget includes a 2 cents per pound "fee" on explosives, which would include gun powder, thus making ammunition more expensive.

I recently had an odd dream that I worked in a grocery store and escorted people out who could not pay after their groceries were rung up and bagged. There were women who cried and when I moved them out of the line thought they were getting a break and looked at me like a prince. They were very polite when I kept the food,I let them keep items like tomatoes and gave the child a lollipop since they were crying also.It was nonstop all day, baggers put the food back unless I saw some ice cream that needed to go back right away, the dream did not seem strange it was like a trip to the doctor when the glass door lady gives you the cost for treatment and paperwork to sign.
