The Road to Hell is Paved with Liberals
Wow. I saw this bumper sticker on an older Toyota truck today along with an assortment of conservative bumper stickers. This disgusted me. I would not put a "The Road to Hell is Paved with Conservatives" on my truck. So I cut him off and made him look at my DU.com sticker, my "Corporate Polluters for Bush" sticker, my anti-W sticker, and the obliged Phish sticker. After doing this, I looked at him....smiled and sped off. What a jackass.

1. Some of those right-wing bumper stickers are horrifying.
I once saw one that showed a donkey's head in the crosshairs of a gun. The caption read, GOT AMMO? And that was in the solid blue state of Connecticut!

2. One could argue
that the liberals that pave the road to hell were run over by the stampede of hell-bound conservatives. ;)

3. What is that supposed to mean? Liberals have good intentions?
The old maxim is that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. So, if liberals are the opposite of conservatives, does that mean that conservatives have bad intentions?

What a stupid bumper sticker. :D

4. Seemingly he was just exercising his right to free speech.......
and by cutting him off, smiling and speeding off it was you who was the jackass.

Just because someone's bumper stickers disgust you doesn't give you the right to endanger that person with your vehicle. Grow up.

8. I had one that said "The Road to Hell is Paved With Republicans."
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 01:05 AM by kaitykaity
It was a BIG hit here in Portland, OR. I got lots
of waves and honks and thumps up on it.

That was before my Toyota (what is it with Toyotas
on this thread?) got repo'd. Thanks Bush.

9. Here's one that really ticks me off...
Some people still have it on from before the election:

"10 out of 10 terrorists agree. Anybody but Bush."

:grr:

10. Apparently
conservatives would rather funnel their hard-earned money into the bottomless pockets of corporations than into their own personal bank accounts. Benefiting the corporate ogliarchs is the only thing bushco does better than any past administration, liberal or conservative.

14. The road to hell is paved with people like George.
"The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Merely intending to do good, without actually doing it, is of no value." 16th century proverb.

These guys need a heads up. The ends don't justify the means, and the intentions don't justify the misdeeds.
