Remember the good old days?

Remember February 10th, 2005?

When the conservative news outlet Accuracy in Media reported that an exhaustive list of Jeff Gannon's journalistic "crimes" would include no more and no less than the following: "he was too pro-Republican, he attended White House briefings, and he asked questions unfair to Democrats"?

God, we were young then.

(Sigh).

Times changed, though, didn't they?

And how!

Like just a few hours later, when Media Matters for America revealed that Jeff Gannon had fabricated a news report in order to bring down Democratic Presidential Candidate John F. Kerry.

Enquirer is we all know what National Enquirer is and to take it with a grain of salt. Not so with a White House Press reporter, or one from a nationally recognized newspaper...we should be able to expect a modicum of truth from them.

Once more, I'm wondering how these so-called mainstream "reporters" can hold their heads up while folks like NA are doing this kind of work. I guess they're all just sitting and waiting till Daddy tells them it's OK to write about it, and then they can just reiterate what the internet sleuths have already told us.
