Testing For Validity..,.
My posts have been edited out, without the benefit of me breaking any rules.

Post #78 here -- http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x3181381

Skinner himself allowed me to register here (upon an E-mail request) while this board was frozen before the election.

I formally request that whoever deleted post #78 please reinstate it in order to prove that I broke no rules, and that free speech exists on this board.

Whoever deletes this post, this will say more about your comittment to Democratic ideals than anyone else...

7. It's not that it can't be.
It's just the rules that it won't be.

All questions about site policy are confined to the Ask the Admins forum.

Maybe a moderator will move this over there for you.

6. Ask the admins directly
As for free speech, this forum is not, and does not, purport to provide completely free speech. Else, the forum would degenerate into a hate filled, vulgar war of words between liberals and conservatives. And that is NOT the point of the forum. Again, read the stated goals and ask the admins directly.

12. Well, you ought to delete this one
You can ask about dleted posts, but this isn't the place to do it. You need to post to the Ask the Administrators forum, I believe someone posted a link to it upthread.

One thing to note though. "Free speech" as it is normally referred to does not exist here, nor should it. This is a privately owned web forum for people with like-minded views (that is to say Democrats, and others who are sympathetic at least to the cause), and even amongst those there are rules and limits which exist primarily to foster civilized discourse. I suspect someone felt something you posted might inflame passions more than would be considered useful to the debate and as such deleted the post.

I wouldn't worry over it too terribly much. Most of us post something once in awhile that just plain comes out wrong, or is misunderstood by someone else who then demands it be deleted. Just take a deep breath and if your point isn't really inflamatory try to repost it in such a way as to make clear you mean no harm by it.

Oh and welcome to DU. A little late I suppose but welcome anyway.
