Met up with Co-Workers this week and none of them knew of Gannon |
|
This week I was out of town on business and met up with several other co-workers from another state. During lunch at a local restaurant in the town we were in I asked them if they had heard about Jeff Gannon and went into the whole story. They both looked at me with blank faces and then one guy said "I heard about the guy who was plotting to kill Bush." They were amazed their was a male prostitute asking softball questions to Bush who was not really part of the press. What I found interesting was how interested they were in the story which shows you the story would have legs if it were ever reported the way it should be.

"Oh, I heard something about that on the Daily Show. What was it all about?"
She got an earful.
The MSM is not going to do its job. It's up to us.

4. Same Here...It's amazing how ignorant most people are... |

This guy that works for me is a Bush-Bot.
Hated Kerry because "Kerry shot himself in Vietnam to get publicity" and because he was going to "take away his guns" and because he was "for the gays"...you know...all that kind of shit.
So, I asked him in rapid fire if he knew who Jeff Gannon was. Nope. Do you know what the Carlyle group is? Nope. Know who Richard Perle is? Nope. Ever hear about PNAC or the Project for the New American Century? Nope. Ever hear about the Franklin cover up? Nope. Know who Karl Rove is? Nope. What about Halliburton? Surely you know what Halliburton is, right? Nope.
"Do me a favor" I told him. "Don't vote in anymore elections"...OK?
"I didn't vote in the last one" he says.
This is what we are up against.

lacks a special prosecutor, a $70 million taxpayer-funded investigation and two years of 24/7 corporate media coverage. If this story got the Monica treatment, we'd be in for alot of entertaining revelations.

For calling it corporate media.
It really starts to work when you call it like it is. Makes the point.
